Summary
I move stalled AI and data programs into production —
diagnosing architectural and governance blockers, designing the operating model, and aligning business,
IT, and risk around outcomes someone can actually measure.
My work has been implementation-level rather than purely
advisory. I have personally built the systems that AI disputes tend to be about, and designed the
governance layers that determine who may query which data under what conditions.
Enterprise data and AI architect with 19 years across financial services, retail, and media — eight
of them at Google Cloud as Senior AI Architect to Fortune 500 clients, advising CTO, CDO, and
VP-level stakeholders. Currently Founder and CEO of Spartera, and Lead Consulting Architect to a digital banking technology
provider serving more than 1,300 financial institutions.
Engagement focus: AI and data architecture assessment · Customer 360 and canonical
data modeling · data governance and access control · cloud data platform modernization · AI risk
and recovery. Available for part-time and project-based engagements, remote or onsite.
Enterprise data and artificial intelligence architect with nineteen years of hands-on experience
designing, building, and operating production systems for Fortune 500 companies in financial
services, banking technology, retail and e-commerce, media, and advertising technology. Eight of
those years were spent at Google Cloud, most recently as Senior AI Architect, serving as principal
technical authority on machine learning platforms, cloud data warehousing, streaming pipelines, and
large language model applications.
Because that career spans 2007 to the present across successive technology generations — enterprise
data warehousing and master data management, digital marketing and advertising technology, cloud
migration, machine learning platforms, and generative and agentic AI — I am positioned to opine on
the state of the art at specific points in time, on what a person of ordinary skill in the art would
have known and been able to do in a given period, and on what was conventional, routine, and
well-understood versus genuinely novel. See also the expert witness
page.
